John Weymes has successfully trained at Ashgill Stables for the past 11 years since taking over the licence from his father Ernie, who had trained there for over 30 years. During that time, he has increased the number of boxes from 21 to 37 and significantly improved the training facilities.

John and his assistant trainer Kirsty, have the knowledge and expertise to ensure that:
- each horse is trained as the individual they are.
- they can give an honest assessment of each horses ability at the earliest opportunity.

John visits all of the leading Bloodstock Sales, at home and abroad, each year, so if you are looking to buy a new horse, just give him a call to discuss your requirements.

As an Owner, you will always be made very welcome when you visit Ashgill to see your horse.

The facilities at Ashgill are excellent, having 37 boxes, horse walkers, lungeing areas, turnout paddocks and easy access to the famous Middleham, High & Low Moor grass and AW gallops.

Ashgill is ideally situated just outside Middleham and has easy access to the A1/M1/M6 so your horse can be transported to the races with the minimum of effort and cost.
